At Securitas USA, we are proud to have team members who go above and beyond in both their professional and personal lives. One such individual is Raymond Jimenez, a dedicated GCA Program Director whose efforts to help make the world a safer place extend far beyond his work responsibilities. While Raymond’s professional accomplishments are impressive, it’s his personal mission to spread holiday cheer that truly stands out.
A dedication to service
Raymond describes his role at Securitas USA as the best work environment he's ever had, praising the collaborative culture and strong relationships he has with his colleagues. From his Vice President to his employees, everyone at Securitas USA works together in an atmosphere of support and mutual respect. This positive environment has inspired Raymond to focus on how he can help give back to his community, reflecting the values that are central to our company.
The security gift of giving
Raymond’s commitment to helping others goes beyond the office. He described feeling heartbroken when he visited a town in Mexico where children weren’t celebrating Christmas. Raymond resolved to bring the spirit of Christmas back to this community.
Raymond began buying gifts in bulk and traveled back to the town, where he dressed as Santa Claus. Standing in the back of his pickup truck, Raymond handed out gifts while lively holiday music played.
Now in its sixth year, Raymond's tradition has grown, with friends and family rallying behind him. Their support, through donations and encouragement, helps make the event even more impactful. The joy and gratitude Raymond brings to these children is truly heartwarming. What makes this tradition even more special is that Raymond’s “Santa toy run” always takes place on December 25th, Christmas Day. Considering Raymond has a young child of his own, his dedication to this cause is even more remarkable. It’s an incredible act of generosity not only from Raymond but also from his family, who share him with the community during this special time.
A family affair of giving back
Raymond’s dedication to giving back isn’t limited to his role as Santa Claus. He also plays an active role in supporting his local community in Mesa, Arizona. Raymond helps his family, who own the restaurant Los Mayitos, deliver food to the homeless to help give back to their community.
For Raymond, giving back is simply part of who he is. "I am a simple man who loves seeing people happy," he says. "I will try my hardest, if it's in my power, to help as many people as I can." His actions inspire those around him, both in his personal life and at Securitas USA, where his commitment to service aligns well with our values.
A role model to others
Raymond’s selfless efforts are a great example of how one person can help make a meaningful difference. His work at Securitas USA, coupled with his dedication to spreading joy and helping those in need, makes him a role model for others. His story is a reminder that the holidays are not only a time for celebration but also a time to give back and help make a positive impact on the lives of others.
At Securitas USA, we are proud to have employees like Raymond Jimenez. Raymond’s actions inspire us all to think beyond ourselves and find ways to help make the world a little brighter, one small act of kindness at a time.
